GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT SWITZERLAND

Located in the heart of Europe, Switzerland is a renowned international financial centre. Switzerland is a confederation of 26 cantons which all enjoy considerable autonomy.

The present division of sectors of the economy between the confederation and individual cantons has been regulated by the federal constitution, which defines the competences of particular authorities. Due to the attractive Swiss tax system, registering companies in Switzerland has become highly popular and at the same time prestigious.

We register two types of companies: S.A. – Société Anonyme (registered/general partnerships) and S.A.R.L. – Société a Responsabilité Limitée (limited liability companies). It takes 10 days to register such an entity in Switzerland.
